Sara Y. has extensive experience in labor and employment law, currently serving as General Counsel at the Park District Risk Management Agency (PDRMA) since May 2017, after a tenure as Deputy General Counsel. Prior to this role, Sara Y. was a Partner at Laner Muchin, providing counsel to employers on risk management and litigation avoidance from August 2010 to April 2017. Earlier experience includes positions as an Associate Attorney at Jones Day and Jenner & Block, where Sara Y. defended employers in various legal actions and managed litigation tasks. Educated with a Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Penn State University, Sara Y. has also contributed to pro bono efforts in civil commitment cases.
