Wilfred Palayyan has extensive work experience in the field of accounting and finance. Wilfred started their career as an Account Payable Supervisor at Alsondos Hotel by Le Meridien in 2007, before moving on to work as a Financial Accountant at Coral Boutique Hotel Apt. Al Barsha from 2008 to 2010. Wilfred then worked as an Assistant Financial Controller at Grand Excelsior Hotel - Bur Dubai from 2010 to 2018, where they were responsible for preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. From 2018 to 2020, they served as a Chief Accountant at Al Habtoor Polo Resort, overseeing finance operations and performing bank reconciliations. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Accountant at Al Bustan Centre & Residence since 2020, and will soon transition to the same role at Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai in 2023.
Wilfred Palayyan completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from Loyola College in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India from 1992 to 1995. Wilfred then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com) with a focus on Accounting and Commerce from Annamalai University in Tamil Nadu, India, from 1995 to 1997.
