Micah Melling

Micah Melling is an accomplished data science professional currently serving as an Adjunct Professor and Course Developer at Park University since August 2022, and as Chief Data Scientist at Americo Financial Life and Annuity since March 2020, where Melling built the data science team and developed advanced underwriting engines. Previous experience includes leadership roles at Spring Venture Group as Senior Director of Data Science, managing a large-scale lead routing system, and various positions at Edelman, where advancements in analytical roles were made from Junior Analyst to Director of Data Science. Melling holds a Master of Science in Business Intelligence and Analytics from Rockhurst University, a Professional Certificate in Data Science from Georgetown University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Missouri, among other educational credentials.
