Russell Love has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Park University, where they are responsible for managing the partnership relationships, recruiting new students, and developing corporate cohorts for specific programs. Russell also serves as an Adjunct Faculty Member, teaching courses that enhance academic skills and introduce university life. Prior to this, Russell worked as the Director of Admissions and Assistant Director of Admissions at Park University. Before their time at Park University, Russell worked as a Recreation Specialist for the Unified Government of Wyandotte County. Russell also held coaching positions at various schools, including Assistant Varsity Football Coach at Bishop Guertin High School, Assistant Basketball Coach at Indian Woods Middle School, Assistant Varsity Football Coach at Shawnee Mission Northwest High School, Basketball Director at Camp Chipinaw, and Assistant Varsity Football Coach and Girls Lacrosse Coach at Londonderry High School. Additionally, they served as the Girls Basketball Head Coach at Hampstead Middle School.
Russell Love holds a Master of Arts degree in Communication and Leadership from Park University, which they completed from 2018 to 2021. Russell also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Management with a Coaching Minor from MidAmerica Nazarene University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Londonderry High School from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their degrees, Russell has certifications in "How to Use the Force: Be Kind, Not Nice" from Park University (obtained year unknown) and "Heartsaver CPR AED" from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association, obtained in August 2014.
