Sahil Gupta

Sahil Gupta is a Senior Principal Scientist with extensive experience in polymer engineering and processing. Currently employed at Parker Hannifin since 2015, Sahil has held roles as Principal Scientist and Division Scientist, focusing on the development of advanced polymer systems for high energy density capacitors. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at The University of Akron, where research centered on optimizing conditions for polyolefins in capacitors, and as a Graduate Research Assistant, culminating in a dissertation on structure-property relationships in polymers. Sahil also contributed to knowledge on thermal transport in oriented polymers during a Graduate Research Assistant role at Illinois Institute of Technology. Earlier work as a Process Engineer at Tata Chemicals provided practical experience in chemical engineering processes. Sahil holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Engineering from The University of Akron and a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Bharati Vidyapeeth University College Of Engineering, Pune.
