Bruce Thompson II has extensive experience in governmental and regulatory activities, currently serving as a Partner and co-chair of the lobbying team at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein, LLP since February 1998. In this role, Bruce Thompson II focuses on legislative representation, strategy formulation, and bill drafting, working closely with the United States Congress and the North Carolina General Assembly. Prior to this position, Bruce Thompson II was an Assistant Attorney General at the North Carolina Department of Justice from 1995 to 1998, representing state colleges and universities and serving as a legal advisor for the North Carolina Commission on Business Laws and the Economy. Bruce Thompson II began their legal career as a Judicial Clerk for the North Carolina Court of Appeals from 1994 to 1995. Bruce Thompson II holds a Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Politics from Wake Forest University.
