George Pretty has extensive experience in legal and corporate affairs, currently serving as the Legal and External Affairs representative for INEOS Automotive, specializing in the distribution of innovative off-road vehicles in the USMCA market since May 2022. Prior experience includes an extensive tenure as a Partner and retired Of Counsel at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP, where George provided corporate attorney services with a focus on transactional, tax, and general counsel for international and domestic clients. George also held partnership roles at Moore & Van Allen, PLLC, and Leatherwood Walker Todd & Mann, P.C., where international corporate practices were developed and managed. Academic credentials include an LLM in Tax Law from Emory University School of Law, a JD from the University of South Carolina, and a BA in History and International Relations from Duke University.
