Laura Lashley

Laura Lashley is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in education policy and law. Currently serving as Counsel at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP since April 2022, Laura's previous roles include Of Counsel at Nelson Mullins, where expertise encompassed charter school law, special education policy, and employment law. An academic background includes serving as an Assistant Professor of Education Policy and Systemic Innovation at Kennesaw State University, teaching courses such as Education Law and Employment Law. Laura began legal practice as an Associate Attorney focused on education and later engaged with the Georgia Charter Schools Commission as Program Manager and Legal Counsel. Laura earned a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law and holds advanced degrees in Secondary Education and International Political Science.
