Job Duties: Perform maintenance and repair activities on various pieces of heavy construction equipment and Marine equipment, including and not limited to Cat, Liebherr, Bobcat, Komatsu. Diagnoses, services and repairs various systems that are found on pieces of heavy equipment. To work and train under the HeadLead Mechanic. Applicants must live within 50 miles of Mobile, AL. to be considered for this position.
Must have experience with heavy machinery and some electrical service.
Make repairs and maintenance of engines, compressors, pumps, and motors.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and electronic diagnostic equipment
Must have an understanding of equipment repair manuals
Performing lockout/tagout, starting/stopping of equipment, and perform equipment checks.
Perform job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Must adhere to company policies and procedures
Assures that machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained for efficient production.
General upkeep of facilities and equipment including engines/compressors, company vehicle, shops and tool rooms.
Excellent communicator, both written and oral.
Performs other functions/duties as required. Additional Duties: Complete inspections and makes recommendations for repairs maintaining cost effectiveness and reduced down-time.
