Deirdre Mueller

Deirdre Mueller is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in managing internal and external communications. Currently serving as Communications Manager at Parker Water & Sanitation District since October 2020, Deirdre leads all communication activities for the organization. Prior to this role, Deirdre held the position of Global Corporate Social Media Lead at Western Union, where strategic social media content was developed and executed for the global corporate communications team. Deirdre's tenure at the American Water Works Association included roles as Senior Communications Manager and Public Affairs Manager, focusing on media relations and consumer relations activities. Earlier career experiences include serving as Senior Associate at LeGrand Hart, where marketing and media relations strategies were implemented, and as Senior Publicist at Simon & Schuster, managing publicity campaigns. Deirdre holds a Master's degree in Public Media and a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Media Studies from Fordham University.
