Kate Moloney

Kate Moloney has extensive work experience in learning and development, training, and management roles. Kate currently works as a Learning and Development Lead at Parkinson's UK. Prior to this, they served as an Interim National Mentoring Manager at Arts Emergency. Kate also worked as a Learning and Development Specialist at Webhelp, where they focused on culture and diversity training. Additionally, Kate has worked as a Training and Development Practitioner as a freelancer and contractor, providing training for multilingual workforces and ESL students. Kate has also held positions such as a Business English Trainer at Learnlight, Director of Camp and Student Services at Cambridge Academy of English, and Interim Services and Operations Lead at Dot Dot Dot Property Guardians. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Delivery Programme Associate Manager at The Challenge, an Education and Vocational Coordinator at Mercy Community Services SEQ Ltd, and a Community Engagement Consultant at QCOSS.

Kate Moloney obtained a Master's Degree in Postgraduate Diploma of Education from the University of Melbourne in 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce, General from the University of Canterbury between 2006 and 2009. For their secondary education, Kate attended Brisbane State High School from 2001 to 2005 and obtained a Queensland Certificate of Education (OP Ranking 4). Kate also holds various additional certifications such as Intercultural Trainer Certification from the European Institute for Intercultural Development and a Teaching Registration from the Queensland College of Teachers. Additionally, Kate has certifications in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and Certificate IV Training and Assessment. Kate has also completed training in Psychological First Aid and TCI - Therapeutic Care Intervention from Cornell University.
