Prior to that, from 2000 to 2005, Blatz obtained a BComm degree from the University of Alberta. Further education history is not provided, but it is known that Blatz attended Camrose Composite High School. In addition to their formal education, Blatz also obtained a certification in the Leading Parkland Development Program from The Ivey Academy at Ivey Business School in October 2022.
