Tyler Rimbey

Tyler Rimbey has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the energy and trading industry. Tyler is currently working as SVP, Supply & Trading at Parkland Corporation since April 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Vice President, Commercial at Plains Midstream Canada from July 2014 to September 2021. As the VP, Business Development at C&C Energia Ltd. / Platino Energy Corp. from July 2011 to July 2014, they played a key role in the company's growth. Tyler has also held various high-level positions at BP Canada Energy Company, including President, BP Canada Energy Trading Corp., Head of Origination - Integrated Supply & Trading (Americas), and VP Marketing & Origination - Integrated Supply & Trading (Canada/US Midwest & NE). Before that, they worked as an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs and as a Crude Oil Trader at SHELL INTERNATIONAL TRADING AND SHIPPING COMPANY LIMITED. Tyler started their career as an Analyst/Trader at Shell in May 1989.

Tyler Rimbey obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Calgary in 1989. Tyler then pursued a Master of Economics degree at the same university, completing it in 1996.
