Noel O. Santini, MD, MBA, FACP has extensive work experience in the healthcare field. Noel O. began their career at Parkland Hospital in 1996 as a Staff Physician at the East Dallas Health Center. Noel O. later advanced to the role of Lead Physician at the same center before becoming the Medical Director of Community Oriented Primary Care. From 2016 to 2020, they served as the Senior Medical Director of Ambulatory Services at Parkland Hospital. In 2020, Dr. Santini was promoted to the position of Vice President and Senior Medical Director, overseeing Ambulatory & Population Medicine at the hospital.
In addition to their work at Parkland Hospital, Dr. Santini has also held academic positions at UT Southwestern Medical Center since 1996. Noel O. started as a Clinical Instructor and worked their way up to Clinical Assistant Professor. Currently, they hold the title of Clinical Associate Professor, contributing to the education and training of medical students.
Noel O. Santini, MD, MBA, FACP earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1993. Noel O. pursued post-graduate education in Pharmacology at the same institution from 1987 to 1989. Dr. Santini then completed their residency in Internal Medicine from 1993 to 1996 at UT Southwestern Medical Center. In 2017, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Organizational Leadership and Management from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas. Additionally, Dr. Santini holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras. Noel O. is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and has been recognized for Patient Centered Medical Home by the NCQA. Dr. Santini completed the Corporate Executive Development Program at Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business.
