Olufunke Awosogba, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the field of psychology and healthcare. Olufunke currently serves as an Advisor at Thrive360. Previously, they held roles at UT Southwestern Medical Center as Vice Chair for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Assistant Professor. Olufunke also worked at Parkland Hospital as the Director of Oncology Behavioral Health and as a Clinical Psychologist. Prior to that, they completed a Psychology Postdoctoral Residency at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Houston and worked as an Instructor at the Menninger Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, Baylor College of Medicine. Olufunke also completed a Clinical Health Psychology Predoctoral Internship at the Memphis Veteran Affairs Medical Center.
Olufunke Awosogba, Ph.D. obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton. Olufunke then pursued their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin. Finally, they completed their education at the University of Texas at Austin, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Counseling Psychology.
