Prakash Murthy

Prakash Murthy is an experienced professional with a strong background in healthcare IT and project management. Currently serving as the Enterprise Portfolio Manager at Parkland Hospital since August 2014, Prakash has led large-scale programs in various areas including facility movement and cloud-based project management, while providing expert guidance on technological initiatives. Previous roles include Director of Clinical Applications at Ascension Health, overseeing Cerner Millennium applications and managing an $8M budget, and significant experience at MedPac, LLC and Microsoft, where Prakash developed business strategies and managed IT consulting teams. Prakash holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso.
