Luis Chan

Luis Chan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Luis started their most recent position in 2020 at ParkOhio Holding Corp., where they worked as a PLEX ERP Business Analyst. Luis'sresponsibilities included managing ERP functionality across Mexican Manufacturing plants and border warehouses with the USA. Luis also dealt with materials management, BOMs, routings, work centers, locations, costing, label design, and dashboard improvements.

Prior to this, Luis worked at GE from 2013 to 2020. In their role as SAP ERP Leader, they led the material listing process and ECRs for SAP Variant Configurator, as well as managed materials, BOMs, routings, work centers, costing, and SAP improvements for different departments. Luis also served as a SAP ERP Specialist, focusing on Acuña Coahuila Plant and Del Rio Texas Plant. Additionally, Luis worked as an Accounts Payable Leader, managing the relationship between GE and suppliers and overseeing SAP improvements. Luis began their career at GE as a SAP ERP Engineer, implementing SAP ERP for Acuña Coahuila Plant and Del Rio Texas Plant.

In 2017, Luis had a part-time teaching role at Colegio de Bachilleres de Coahuila (COBAC), and from 2008 to 2015, they worked as a part-time teacher at Centro Computacional Acuña (CCA). Additionally, they gained experience as a Warehouse Assistant at PKC Group, responsible for shipping and receiving, inventory management, FIFO, cycle counts, audits, and database management in Acuña Coahuila Plant.
