Eric Starmer has extensive work experience in mechanical design and manufacturing engineering. Eric started their career as a Cad Department Manager at Nelson Engineering in 1997 and then moved on to work as a Mechanical Designer at GE Harris Railway Electronics from 1998 to 2000. From 2000 to 2002, they worked as a Mechanical Designer at Tompkins Associates and then joined Featherlite Luxury Coaches as a Mechanical Designer from 2002 to 2005. Eric then worked as a Mechanical Designer at General Dynamics from 2005 to 2008, before joining Sea Ray Boats as a Mechanical Designer from 2008 to 2014. During this time, they also served as a Flotilla Staff Officer Marine Safety at the US Coast Guard Auxiliary from 2008 onwards. From 2014 to 2019, they worked as a Mechanical Designer and Manufacturing Engineer at Akebono Brake Corporation. Currently, they are employed as a Manufacturing Engineer at Parksite since November 2019.
Eric Starmer attended Keiser College from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained an AS degree in Drafting and Design. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1994, they attended Eastern Florida State College and earned an AA degree. In 1991 and 1992, Eric Starmer attended Indian River State College, where they pursued a Law Enforcment Officer Certification in criminal justice.
