Matthew Hansen

Matthew Hansen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental management and corporate sustainability. From July 2019 to June 2024, Matthew served as the Global Environmental Program Manager at Gates Corporation, focusing on site and product environmental compliance as well as ESG/sustainability initiatives. Prior to this, Matthew held the position of Corporate EH&S Manager at Parkway Products, LLC, where responsibilities included overseeing environmental, health, and safety for ten North American facilities. Earlier career achievements include serving as the Director of QEHS&S at LifeSpan Technology and working as a Geologist, contributing to significant hazard analysis and data collection projects. Educational qualifications include a degree in Geography - Earth Science from the University of Colorado Denver and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Psychology from Red Rocks Community College.
