Julia Parsons

Julia Parsons has a range of work experience in various roles and organizations. Julia started their career as a Programs and Events Assistant at the Mahone Bay Museum in 2015. In the same year, they also worked as an Office Staff member and later became the Chief Electoral Officer at the Rideau River Residence Association. In 2016, Julia interned as a Summer Intern at the Office of the Leader of the Official Opposition within the Conservative Party of Canada. Later that year, they joined the Parliament of Canada and held various positions such as Research Assistant, Executive Assistant, Operations Manager, and currently holds the position of Director of Policy.

Julia Parsons completed their education from 2011 to 2014 at Park View Education Centre, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. Subsequently, from 2014 to 2018, they attended Carleton University, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in BA Honours Political Science with a concentration in Canadian Politics. Additionally, Julia has obtained certifications from edX, including a Verified Certificate for Rhetoric: The Art of Persuasive Writing and Public Speaking in April 2023 and a Verified Certificate for Introduction to Project Management in August 2022.
