Kevin A. Hemmat

Kevin A. Hemmat has a diverse work experience. Kevin A. currently works as the Director of Communications at the Office of Patrick Weiler MP in the Parliament of Canada since February 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Communications & Correspondence Assistant in the same office from October 2019 to February 2021. Kevin A. also worked as the Riding Association Communications Coordinator for the Liberal Party of Canada in BC from January 2016 to August 2020. In addition, they were a Field Manager for the Patrick Weiler Campaign and a Field Organizer for the Liberal Party of Canada from September 2019 to October 2019 and from May 2018 to September 2019, respectively. Kevin Hemmat has also worked in other roles such as Academic Tutor at BrainAcademi in 2019, Teaching Assistant at The University of British Columbia from August 2018 to May 2019, Teaching Assistant at West Vancouver Schools in June 2017, Community Living Counsellor at Community Living Society (CLS) in June 2016, Youth Outreach & Communications Coordinator for the Liberal Party of Canada in BC from June 2015 to October 2015, and Receptionist and Office Manager at Columbia Speech Services in July 2015 to August 2015.

Kevin A. Hemmat received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from The University of British Columbia, where they studied from 2014 to 2019. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree at Simon Fraser University, which they are expected to complete between 2021 and 2024.
