Solomon Mthombeni

Solomon Mthombeni, PhD, has extensive experience in both public service and health sciences, currently serving as a Content Advisor for Education and Technology, Sport, Arts, and Culture at the Parliament of the Republic of South Africa since February 2019. In previous roles, Solomon acted as a Content Advisor and Researcher for the Portfolio Committee on Sport, Arts, and Culture, and worked as a Registered Biokineticist in various institutions, including the Department of Health in North West Province and the Sports Science Institute of South Africa. Solomon holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Health Sciences from the University of Johannesburg and has completed several other academic credentials, including a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration and a Master of Philosophy in Biokinetics, alongside a Professional Certificate in Data Analytics from Google pour les pros.
