Daniel Quinaud

Daniel Quinaud has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. The most recent position held by Daniel is as a Senior Data Analyst at Parrot Analytics, starting in February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Economist at Abramge from December 2019 to February 2022.

Before joining Abramge, Daniel worked as an Economist at GO Associados from July 2019 to December 2019. In this role, they conducted economic-financial viability analysis and regulatory consultancy projects for infrastructure companies. Their responsibilities included analyzing concession contracts, financial statements, and demographic data to perform financial modeling of projects. Daniel also prepared reports, created metrics and indicators.

Prior to GO Associados, Daniel worked as a Research Assistant at Gibbs Land Use & Environment Lab (Glue), University of Wisconsin from November 2017 to October 2018. In this role, they contributed to a project focused on mapping slaughterhouses in the Amazon region of Brazil and analyzing their relation to socio-economic variables and deforestation. Their tasks included creating a database with georeferenced slaughterhouse data, using R and Stata to import, clean, validate, and merge data from various sources.

Earlier in their career, Daniel worked as a Data Analyst at MRV Engineering from January 2015 to August 2015. Daniel also gained experience as an Intern in tariff regulation at the Water and Sanitation Regulatory Agency of Minas Gerais State - Arsae from April 2014 to December 2014. Additionally, they worked as a Compliance Intern at Cemig from March 2013 to December 2013.

Daniel Quinaud completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais from 2011 to 2014. Later, from 2017 to 2018, they pursued a Master's Degree in Applied Economics from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
