Minh Vu

Minh Vu has a diverse work experience in the field of fullstack development and solution architecture. Minh started their professional career in 2009 as an Intermediate Java Fullstack Developer at Harmonic Analytics Limited, where they worked on the development of IP/MPLS Network Modelling and SCADA Performance & Capacity Analysis systems. In 2013, they joined Regen Ltd as a Senior Fullstack Developer, where they contributed to the development and implementation of the web-based MyFarm and IceAdmin systems. Minh also worked on various projects such as mobile app development and website development. In 2014, they joined WEX Inc. as a Senior J2EE Fullstack Developer, focusing on the implementation and extension of the International Fleet Card System. Minh also integrated web services into the system. Later, in 2015, they worked as a Freelancer/Contractor at Harmonic Aotearoa Ltd. In 2016, they joined Aviat Networks as a Senior Fullstack Developer, primarily working on the MPLS Management System Aviat Cloud. Minh used technologies such as NodeJS, Angular, Docker, and AWS. Simultaneously, they also worked at Freedom Internet Australia & NZ as a Senior Fullstack Lead on a part-time contract. Currently, they are working at Parrot Analytics as an AWS Solution Architect/API Tech Lead, leveraging their expertise in AWS and API development.

Minh Vu's education history is as follows:

In 2004 to 2009, Minh Vu attended The University of Auckland and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering.

In 2014, Minh Vu became an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer, earning an Engineer's Degree.

Later in the same year, Minh Vu also obtained an Engineer's Degree from Oracle as an Oracle Certified Expert, Java Platform, EE 6 Web Component Developer.

In 2015, Minh Vu pursued further certification from Oracle and became an Oracle Certified Expert, Java Platform, Enterprise Edition 6 Web Services Developer.

Moving forward to 2018, Minh Vu acquired an AWS Solution Architect Associate Certificate from AWS.

In 2019, Minh Vu went on to become an AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional, expanding their qualifications in AWS.

Minh Vu has also obtained additional certifications outside of formal education. They obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certification in January 2019 from Amazon Web Services. They have also received certifications from solo.io, including Fundamentals for Envoy by Solo.io in October 2022, Foundation for Istio by Solo.io in August 2022, and Essentials for Istio by Solo.io in September 2021.

Additionally, in the field of Java development, Minh Vu achieved the Oracle Certified Expert, Java Web Services Developer Candidate certification from Oracle in December 2015. They also obtained the Oracle Certified Expert, Java EE Web Component Developer certification from Oracle in August 2014.

Furthermore, Minh Vu holds certifications in web development, including shaping-up-with-angular-js from Code School in April 2012 and JavaScript Road Trip Part 3 from Code School in March 2012.
