Lauren Kenyon has a diverse work experience with roles in various companies and organizations. Lauren began their career at Caribou Coffee & Einstein Bros. Bagels, where they worked as a Shift Manager from July 2015 to March 2018. In 2018, Lauren worked as a Software Engineer Intern at DCS Corp and later at Rockwell Collins. Lauren also served as an ExSEL Leader and Tutor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst during the same year.
In 2019, Lauren joined the Markstein Lab as a Computational Biology Team Member and also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Rockwell Collins. Lauren continued their academic career as a Bioinformatics Research Assistant and later as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from September 2019 to May 2020. During this time, they also worked as an Undergraduate Course Assistant at the College of Information and Computer Sciences.
In 2021, Lauren became a Freelance Bioinformatician before moving on to their current role as a Research Associate II at Parse Biosciences, starting in August 2021.
Lauren Kenyon received their Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, completing their education from 2017 to 2021.
