Cecilia Camarillo

Cecilia Camarillo is the Senior Vice President of Accounting at Parsley Energy. Cecilia has over 20 years of experience in accounting and finance, and has been with Parsley Energy since 2013. Cecilia was promoted to their current role in 2019.

Camarillo is responsible for overseeing a 52-member team and all SEC reporting requirements. Cecilia manages a $10M budget consisting primarily of Big 4 professional fees, accounting team payroll and digital automation costs. Cecilia also monitors, calculates and reports on daily production volumes, monthly revenue projections and actual sales volumes to executive leadership.

Some highlights of Camarillo's accomplishments in their role at Parsley Energy include being selected to join the company in 2013 to ensure advantageous positioning for 2014 IPO, delivering GAAP and SOX compliance. Camarillo has also managed the post-IPO implementation of companywide internal controls, and has served as a founding member of the Data Governance Committee with the end goal of implementing practical processes to improve data integrity, security, availability, and usability.

Cecilia Camarillo has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from West Texas A&M University and is certified by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

They are on a team with Stephanie Reed - SVP Corporate Development, Land, and Midstream, Kyle Rhodes - Vice President – Investor Relations, and Ryan Dalton - EVP & Chief Financial Officer. Cecilia Camarillo reports to Matt Gallagher, President and Chief Executive Officer.
