Leo Kia

Leo Kia has a diverse background in various roles within the business and investment sectors. Leo is currently the Founder & CEO of Parsly, where they focus on bringing order and transparency to a fragmented market. Leo has also held positions as a Board Member at Eppow, a healthcare staffing digital marketplace, and as a Co-Founder & Board Member at Digideal. Additionally, they have served as a Board Member at Grace Health, a digital women's health clinic, and as an Investment Manager at VNV Global, managing investments in companies with network effects. Leo has also worked as an Investment Manager at PMG Investment, where they focused on investing in high-growth companies in emerging markets, and as a Founder & Business Consultant at PV CONSULTING, providing consulting services to Private Equity and Venture Capital firms. Prior to that, Leo was the Co-Managing Director at Gold Oak Group, where they successfully grew market share and achieved significant growth metrics. Leo has also worked as an Executive Director and Advisor to the Board at Kinnevik Nigeria E-commerce Portfolio, overseeing business turnaround efforts and advising on tech investments in sub-Saharan Africa. Leo's early experience includes roles as Co-Managing Director and Country Manager at Groupon Sweden & Norway.

Leo Kia attended Katedralskolan from 1995 to 1998, where they studied Biochemistry with a focus on Natural science and Biotechnology. Later, from 2000 to 2006, Leo pursued their Master's degree in Computer Science at Uppsala University. Their degree had a major in Software Engineering and a minor in Discrete Mathematics. Additionally, their education at Uppsala University also included an add-on in Business Management.
