Nicole Farrell has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Nicole began their career as a City Editor at The Herald Journal in 1998 and held the position until 2001. Nicole then worked as a Law Clerk at the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit under Judge Stephen H. Anderson from 2004 to 2005. Following that, they served as a Law Clerk at the Utah Court of Appeals under Judge Carolyn McHugh in 2005-2006. In 2007, they joined Parsons Behle & Latimer, initially as an Associate and later as a Shareholder until 2016. From 2016 to 2018, Nicole worked as Corporate Counsel at Apartment Management Consultants LLC. Nicole then joined Dyno Nobel in 2018 and held various positions including Corporate Counsel, Sr HR Director, and Integrated Business Planning until 2022. In 2022, they were promoted to VP of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Nobel Academy. Nicole's most recent position is Chief People Officer at Parsons Behle & Latimer, which they started in June 2023.
Nicole Farrell pursued their education at Utah State University from 1995 to 1998, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Journalism. Following this, they attended the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree. In February 2022, they also obtained a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Certification from the University of Utah.
