Mario G. Oyola

Principal Scientist at Parsons

Mario G. Oyola serves as a Principal Scientist at Parsons Corporation since April 2021, where the focus is on leading and developing innovative biomedical and Traumatic Brain Injury research initiatives. Prior to this, Mario held the position of Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, where notable achievements included establishing novel protocols in neuroendocrinology and traumatic brain injury and leading interdisciplinary teams in impactful research. Mario also co-founded and served as President of the Colorado State University Postdoctoral Association, and completed postdoctoral work at Colorado State University, contributing to significant research on estrogen receptor beta neurons. Education includes a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Baylor College of Medicine and a B.S. from the University of Puerto Rico.
