Cameron Spence

Cameron Spence is a Quantum Engineer at ParTec AG since September 2023, previously serving as a Quantum Control Engineer at Riverlane from May 2022 to September 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a PhD Researcher at Institut Néel CNRS from October 2017 to September 2021, focusing on single-electron quantum dots in Silicon as qubit systems and the effects of charge noise on spin qubit decoherence. Cameron also gained technical experience as an Extreme Blue Technical Intern at IBM in 2016, tackling challenges in machine learning software, and undertook summer work at MSEnvironmental in 2015. Education includes a PhD in Solid State Physics from Université Grenoble Alpes and a Master’s Degree in Experimental Physics from the University of York.
