Dr. Mustafa Dereci

Dr. Mustafa Dereci currently serves as a Misafir Öğretim Görevlisi at İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi since September 2023. In addition to this academic role, Dr. Dereci has held significant positions in various organizations, including Head of Advisory Board at Hayat Finans and ISFA İslami Finans Danışmanlık, as well as Deputy Head of Advisory Board at Katılım Emeklilik, all since 2021. Dr. Dereci's extensive experience in the financial sector includes a long tenure at Kuveyt Turk Participation Bank, where the role of Group Manager in Product Development was held from May 1993 to February 2021, and a time as Board Member at Neova Sigorta from June 2009 to September 2018. Dr. Dereci's academic background encompasses a Doctor of Philosophy in Islamic Economy and International Finance from Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, a degree in Politics and International Relations from Boğaziçi University, and studies in Theology at Istanbul University.
