Tammie Vu

Tammie Vu has a strong background in people operations and recruiting. Tammie most recently worked at Particle as the Manager of People Operations, where they oversaw a team responsible for various HR functions including payroll, compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee engagement. Prior to that, they served as a People Operations Lead and People Operations team member at the same company.

Before joining Particle, Tammie held roles at Remix, Clover Health, Kamcord, Pure Storage, Evernote, and Google, primarily focusing on recruiting. At Remix, they were the sole recruiter and played a key role in enhancing diversity and inclusion efforts. At Clover Health, they helped the company grow from 150 to 500 employees by recruiting for various roles. At Kamcord, they were the first and only recruiter, and they contributed to the company's growth and subsequent acquisition by Lyft. Tammie kick-started the university recruiting program at Pure Storage and received the annual Founder's Award for their impactful contributions. Tammie also worked as a recruiting coordinator at Evernote and Google, demonstrating exceptional performance in coordinating and scheduling recruitment activities.

Tammie began their career as a counselor at Unity Care. Throughout their professional journey, they have gained a wealth of experience in people operations, recruitment, and coordination.

Tammie Vu earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, specializing in Social Welfare and Asian American Studies. Tammie attended the university from 2007 to 2010.
