Catherine Poisson MSN RN CNS

Catherine Poisson has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Catherine Poisson started their career as a Critical Care Staff Nurse at Wishard Hospital, where they worked in a Level 1 Trauma Center for eight years.

In 2000, Catherine joined the B. Braun Group, where they served as a Senior Clinical Nurse Consultant and Field Manager. Catherine Poisson'sresponsibilities included providing product support, educating and mentoring healthcare professionals, and establishing relationships with key opinion leaders. Catherine Poisson also managed the field nurse educator program.

In 2007, Catherine moved to Baxter International Inc., where they were promoted to Manager of Clinical Education. Catherine Poisson led a team of Clinical Nurse Educators who provided infusion and education support to the sales and marketing teams. Catherine demonstrated strong leadership skills and was able to effectively communicate the project vision to diverse groups.

From 2011 to 2013, Catherine worked at GlaxoSmithKline/Human Genome Sciences as a Senior Immunology Educator. Catherine Poisson provided clinical support and education for a new biologic infusion therapy, focusing on various healthcare settings such as infusion centers and hospitals.

Catherine joined AbbVie in 2013 as the Director of Clinical Education/Patient Services Program. Catherine Poisson led the expansion teams for the AbbVie humira Nurse Ambassador Program and successfully hired and managed the nurse educators and district nurse managers.

At Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Catherine served as an Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist from 2014 to 2015. Catherine Poisson provided clinical expertise on the company's commercialized products and developed disease state programs for healthcare providers. Catherine also contributed to the creation of marketing materials.

Catherine worked as an Oncology Partner at Merrimack from 2015 to 2017. Catherine Poisson played a key role in launching the company's first Oncology drug for patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer. Merrimack's approach focused on computational modeling and systems biology.

From 2017 to 2018, Catherine joined Bayer as an Oncology Liaison. During this time, they specialized in the treatment of leukemia and lymphoma, providing disease state programs and supporting the development of marketing materials.

Currently, Catherine is working at Partner Therapeutics as a National Medical Science Liaison, a position they began in 2018.

Catherine Poisson MSN RN CNS completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Indiana Wesleyan University. Catherine Poisson then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Clinical Nurse Specialist from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Currently, Catherine is in the process of obtaining their Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from Liberty University, with an expected completion in 2023.
