Shelly Jones

Shelly Jones has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Shelly began their career in 1987 as a Clinical Registered Dietitian and worked in multiple organizations until 1995. From 1995 to 2001, they worked as a Healthcare Specialist at US Foods. In 2001, they became a Regional Food Service Director at Centers For Long Term Care. From 2002 to 2008, they worked at Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center, first as Chief Clinical Dietitian and then as a LEAN/Six Sigma Black Belt facilitator. Shelly then joined VCU Health System in 2008 as a Performance Improvement Project Manager. At VCU, they managed various projects related to patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and operations. Since 2014, Shelly has been working at PartnerMD. Shelly started as a Senior Project Manager and later became a Sr. Manager EMR and Performance Improvement. Currently, they serve as the Director of Performance Excellence and Project Leadership. In this role, they lead engagement for value-based care performance and provider quality programs and manages operational, IT, and performance excellence projects enterprise-wide.
