Haofeng Yu

Haofeng Yu is an experienced actuary currently serving as Head of R&D and Senior Actuary at PartnerRe since July 2019. Prior to this role, Haofeng held various positions at AIG from February 2015 to July 2019, including Director & Actuary in Individual Retirement Product Management and Supervising Actuary in Corporate Actuarial, with responsibilities in ALM and Capital Management. Haofeng's earlier experience at Aflac from June 2008 to February 2015 encompassed roles such as Actuary IV, focusing on Capital Modeling and ERM, as well as Senior Actuarial Associate specializing in Valuation, Financial Reporting, and Experience Studies. Haofeng holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Virginia Tech.
