Sandra Scott has over 20 years of work experience in human resources. Sandra started their career as a Talent Acquisition Manager at PwC in 2000. Sandra then worked as a Human Resources Business Partner at PIVOTAL Integrated HR Solutions from 2001 to 2004, where they reported to multiple CEO's and provided HR support and coaching to clients. From 2004 to 2008, Sandra served as the Director of Human Resources at Pivotal Integrated HR Solutions. Sandra led a team of HR professionals and provided strategic HR advice to senior leaders. In 2008, Sandra joined S&C Electric Canada as a Director of Human Resources, reporting directly to the CEO and leading the HR team for the Canadian operations. Currently, they are working as the Human Resources Vice President and Global HR Business Partner at PartnerRe, where they are responsible for evaluating and distributing risk while expanding product lines and increasing global presence.
Sandra Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with Honours from the University of Toronto from 1986 to 1990. Sandra also completed a Succession Planning Certificate from the Schulich School of Business - York University in 2011. Additionally, Sandra is currently pursuing a Certified Professional Coach degree with a focus on Leadership Coaching at the Adler International Institute, starting in 2012 and expected to finish in 2016. Sandra obtained their Certified Human Resources Leader (C.H.R.L) designation from the Human Resources Professionals Association in 2003. Sandra also holds additional certifications such as the edX Verified Certificate for Unconscious Bias and Senior Human Resources Management - CP from edX and SHRM respectively.
