Tanisha Chheda is currently a Summer Research Assistant at the Department of Human Genetics and serves as the Community Building and Education Lead at Partners In Health, engaging with government leaders to advocate for equitable healthcare. Tanisha holds leadership positions in the Emory Indian Cultural Association and Emory University College Council, focusing on community engagement and programming. As the Newsletter Editor for the Association for Women in Science, Tanisha promotes female representation in STEM through newsletters and outreach events. Previous internships include roles in business development at SUN PHARMA and Fullife Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., as well as research positions at Abhinav Bindra Targeting Performance and the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, contributing to scientific publications and studies. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Human Health with a focus on Nutrition Science at Emory College, Tanisha also earned an IBDP Diploma from The Bombay International School.
