Paola Sarmiento Romero

Paola Sarmiento Romero has an extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. PAOLA has held various roles in different companies over the years.

Starting in 2007, they worked as a Secretaria Administrativa at Randy Smith Training Solutions until 2009. PAOLA then joined FUPAD as an Asistente de Recursos Humanos from 2009 to 2011.

In 2011, they moved to ICETEX where they worked as a Profesional Grupo talento humano until 2013. Following this, Paola became an HR Business Partner at Avianca from February 2013 to November 2013.

From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Coordinadora de Recursos Humanos at FUPAD before joining Management Systems International as a Human Resources Specialist from 2015 to 2018.

Their most recent role before the current one was at Mercy Corps, where they served as Gerente de Gestión Humana from April 2018 to April 2022.

Currently, Paola is working as an Associate Director/HR Business Partner at Partners of the Americas from April 2022 onwards.

Paola Sarmiento Romero has a diverse education history with qualifications in human resources management and administration. PAOLA began their education in 2006 at SENA, where they earned a degree in Human Resource Administration, specializing in the management of human resources and personnel administration. After completing their studies at SENA, Paola pursued further education in 2009 at Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Here, they obtained a degree in Business Administration, focusing on general administration skills. Later, in 2013, Paola attended Universidad Sergio Arboleda, where they completed a specialist degree in Human Resources Management. Overall, Paola's education has equipped their with a strong foundation in both the practical and theoretical aspects of human resources and general administration.
