Robert Hall

Robert Hall is a distinguished professional with extensive expertise in climate action and sustainable investment. Currently serving as a Member of the Expert Advisory Group for both the UK Greenhouse Gas Removal Programme projects focused on biochar and accelerated peat formation, Robert also holds the position of Visiting Fellow at the Global Systems Institute, University of Exeter. As a Commissioner representing UK Financial Services for the Yorkshire and Humber Climate Commission, Robert promotes collaborative climate strategies. Additionally, Robert is the Founding Chair of PCAF UK, which aims to improve measurement of financed emissions. With a strong background as Head of Nature Investment at Federated Hermes Limited, including leading the establishment of the Natural Capital investment division, Robert has played a pivotal role in advancing sustainable investment initiatives. Previous experience includes positions at the Financial Conduct Authority, focusing on green technology and ESG matters. Robert Hall holds a Master of Science degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
