Sean Wright is an experienced finance professional with a strong focus on climate integration and sustainable finance. Currently serving as the Global Head of Climate and Executive Director & Climate Integration Lead for Global Sustainable Finance at Morgan Stanley, Sean advises on integrating climate considerations across business practices and regulatory engagements. As a Steering Committee Member for the Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials, Sean contributes to the development of carbon accounting methodologies. Previous roles include Senior Manager at the Environmental Defense Fund, where Sean spearheaded initiatives for climate policy improvements in the oil and gas sector, as well as positions at Credit Suisse, PwC, and John Hancock Financial Services. Sean holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Rutgers University Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Tufts University, complemented by a study abroad program at the University of Melbourne.
