Alyssa M. Garcia

Alyssa M. Garcia currently serves as the Manager of College-Going Culture at the Partnership for Los Angeles Schools, a position held since October 2023. Previously, Alyssa held the role of Dean of Students and School Culture at Valley Charter Schools. Additionally, significant experience includes over seven years at Las Fotos Project, starting as a Teaching Artist and progressing to the Director of Education and Programs. Alyssa also worked as a Visual Arts Teacher at Arts In Action Community Charter Schools. In terms of education, Alyssa is pursuing an Executive MBA at the University of Southern California, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Learning from California State University, Los Angeles, a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Sciences from Citrus College, and initially studied Liberal Arts and Sciences at California State University, Long Beach.
