Paul Pietsch

Paul manages a research portfolio focused on increasing government effectiveness. The ideal of government of the people, by the people and for the people has influenced him since childhood, leading him to study at a state (instead of a private) university and to serve in the Peace Corps. As the research manager at the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies he wrote a number of reports highlighting the myriad benefits of public support for the arts. Paul’s favorite public servants are the staff of the National Endowment for the Arts, who work tirelessly to increase access to the arts in communities big and small throughout the country.
