Suzanne Burnes

Suzanne Burnes has a strong background in sustainability and partnership development. Suzanne currently serves as the Just Growth Director at the Partnership for Southern Equity. Prior to this, they founded the Collective Wisdom Group, where they helped clients contribute to an equitable, green, and resilient society through strategic partnerships. Suzanne also worked as a Program Development Consultant at the Captain Planet Foundation, where they created the Project Hero initiative. Suzanne has served as the Executive Director of Sustainable Atlanta, focusing on sustainable community economic development. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as an Assistant Director at the Sustainability Division of the GA Department of Natural Resources and as an Environmental Consultant and Program Manager at TechLaw, Inc., managing various contracts related to environmental support services.
