Maria Sobrino is an accomplished professional currently serving as an Associate Researcher at the Partnership to End Addiction and as a Graduate Student and Research Associate at the Hunter Alliance for Research and Translation at The City University of New York since August 2023. Maria's extensive experience includes roles as a Bilingual Project Coordinator in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Research Assistant and Interviewer for the National Drug Early Warning System Project, and Research Assistant at ¡Chévere! Lab and Collective. Additional positions include an internship at the United Nations, serving as a Guardian Ad Litem, and writing for THE FINE PRINT MAGAZINE. Maria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English, along with a Minor in International Development and Humanitarian Assistance from the University of Florida. Currently, Maria is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Psychology at The City University of New York.
