David Michaud

David Michaud has a diverse range of work experience. David is currently the Founder & CEO of Parvis. Prior to this, they founded Henry Real Estate Inc. where they served as the Chief Legal Officer. David also worked at Fiera Capital as the Legal Director, Securities & Regulatory Law, providing legal services on investment activities and operations in various regions. Before that, they were Senior Legal Counsel at the National Bank of Canada, where they provided legal services for banking activities and operations in Ontario, Western Canada, and the U.S. David also worked as a Legal Counsel at Central 1 Credit Union, providing legal services to various client groups. Earlier in their career, they were an Associate Lawyer at NewPort Law (now Davison Law Group) and served as a Legal Counsel & Special Advisor at the Parliament of Canada, where they provided legal research support, advice, and legislative drafting services.

David Michaud attended Université de Moncton from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Baccalaureate (B.A.) degree in Economics & Political Science from the Faculty of Social Sciences. From 2001 to 2004, they pursued a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law at the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law. Later, from 2010 to 2013, David studied at the University of London and completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree with a focus on Banking, Corporate, Finance, & Securities Law.
