John Ranere

John Ranere is the current Vice President of Operations at Parx Casino. John has held this position since August 2016. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Player Development & Guest Service Operations at the same company from January 2011 to December 2016.

Ranere has also worked at SugarHouse Casino as the Vice President of Casino Marketing and VIP Operations. John was responsible for recruiting, training and leading both Asian and domestic VIP marketing teams including executive hosts, player development executives, casino hosts and VIP concierge. John was also in charge of developing and implementing strategic brand marketing initiatives that built cross property loyalty within the company.

Ranere was successful in creating a comp matrix that empowered and guided departments such as table games, slots, casino credit and marketing for the purpose of issuing discretionary comps to customers. John also created an employee culture in which service execution was vital to the guest experience and lead the casino customer service team resulting in thirteen consecutive quarters of positive growth in service score initiatives as reported by customer surveys.

John Ranere is in the process of completing an Associate of Science in Business Administration (ASBA) at Thomas Edison State University. Their BSBA in General Management is also from Thomas Edison State University. John is certified as a Hospitality Professional from PHL Welcomes U and as a Legendary Leadership Management Series Graduate from Harrah's. John has also completed the Excellence in Supervision certification from Harrah's Casino and the Accelerated Career Enhancement Program certification from Harrah's Casino.

They work with Ron Davis - Chief Diversity Officer, Mike Grawl - Director Of Information Technology, and Bryan Bartlett - VP, Group Finance, CFO, & Board Member. John Ranere reports to John Dixon, COO.
