Anthony Alvarez has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Anthony began their career in the United States Marine Corps, serving as an Anti-Tank Assaultman and a driver for the Company and Regiment. After being honorably discharged, they worked as a Route Driver for Van Tran of Tucson. Anthony then transitioned to the Casino industry, working as a Drop Team Member at Casino of the Sun and later as a Dual Rate Slot Shift Supervisor/Manager at Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment. Anthony also gained experience as a Sales Associate at Circler K Corporation and as a General Laborer at Supplemental Solutions. In their most recent role, they served as a Deputy Chief for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe.

Anthony Alvarez attended Grand Canyon University from 2022 to 2024, where they pursued a field of study in Homeland Security and Emergency Management. Prior to that, in 2014, they completed a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree at Arizona State University, majoring in Social Work. From 1991 to 2014, Anthony attended Pima Community College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree, with a focus on Administration of Justice and Social Services. During the same period, they also received a Certificate in AGEC-A Certification and an Associate Degree in General Studies from Pima Community College. In addition to their formal education, Anthony has obtained several certifications, including Organization Communication from LinkedIn in July 2021, Leading a Customer-Centric Culture (2013) from LinkedIn in May 2021, Collaborative Leadership from LinkedIn in April 2021, Humble Leadership: The Power of Relationships, Openness, and Trust (getAbstract Summary) from LinkedIn in April 2021, and Executive Presence on Video Conference Calls from LinkedIn in January 2021.
