Ravana Shukurova

Ravana Shukurova is an experienced professional in the field of insurance and actuarial analysis, currently serving as the Head of Insurance Risk Management at PASHA Life Insurance OJSC since June 2017. With a comprehensive career progression within the company, roles included Expert-Actuarial Analyst, Senior Actuarial Analyst, Actuarial Analyst, and Junior Actuarial Analyst, all focused on pricing and portfolio analysis. Responsibilities encompassed calculating premiums for various life insurance products, optimizing reinsurance retention levels, and conducting extensive portfolio analysis. Prior to PASHA, Ravana worked as an Actuarial Analysis Specialist on the Azerbaijan Social Protection Development Project, in collaboration with the World Bank. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Mathematical Informatics and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Baku State University, along with completion of an actuarial training program in Azerbaijan.
