Emily Winters

Emily Winters has a strong background in clinical operations and research. Emily started their career as a Research Specialist at the University of Pennsylvania, where they worked on immunology experiments and collaborated with a biotechnology company. Emily then joined AstraZeneca as an Oncology Alliance Intern, where they developed metrics and generated reports to evaluate external engagement results. Emily then moved on to Spark Therapeutics, Inc., first as a Clinical Trial Associate and later as a Clinical Study Manager. During their time at Spark Therapeutics, they drafted and reviewed important documents, maintained trackers for study oversight, and served as the primary contact for investigative site personnel and external vendors. Currently, Emily is working at Passage Bio as an Associate Director of Clinical Operations.

Emily Winters received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology with a minor in Theater from Hamilton College in the years 2010 to 2014. Later, in 2016 to 2017, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biotechnology at Georgetown University.
