Ishani Vyas

Ishani Vyas has a diverse range of work experience over the years.

Starting from 2021, Ishani worked as a Computer Vision | Machine Learning Engineer at Passio AI.

In 2019, Ishani was a Graduate Researcher at the Video and Image Processing Lab at UC Berkeley, where they worked on projects related to SLAM, Camera Calibration, and 3D Reconstruction for Indoor Mapping. Their work included thin obstacle detection and depth estimation for a drone using various technologies.

From 2010 to 2017, Ishani was a Programmer/Analyst-III at UCLA Health, specifically at the Computing Technology Research Lab. Their responsibilities involved software requirements elicitation, architecture, design, and implementation. They worked with technologies such as Objective C, iOS, Java, JSP, and more.

In 2009, Ishani worked as a Programmer/Analyst-I at The David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Department of Neurology. They were responsible for developing web applications to support education and training of medical residents, clinical research, and more. Their work involved technologies like Tomcat Apache, Microsoft SQL Server, JAVA, and more.

Lastly, in 2008, Ishani worked as a Web Developer for the City of Los Angeles.

Throughout their career, Ishani has gained experience in computer vision, machine learning, SLAM, camera calibration, 3D reconstruction, web development, and various programming languages and technologies.

Ishani Vyas graduated from the UC Berkeley College of Engineering in 2020 with a Graduate Certification in Machine learning/Data Science. Prior to that, they earned an M.S. in Computer Science from California State University, Los Angeles. Ishani completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a focus on Computer Engineering, from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Full Stack Deep Learning, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning. These certifications were obtained from institutions such as deeplearning.ai and Full Stack Deep Learning. Ishani also completed a course in iPhone and iPad Application Programming at UCLA Extension.
